“CODEC MPEG-2”

The board EK-CDC/2T allows to code and decode a Features
video signal plus two audio channels in digital form
according to specific MPEG-2 (Main profile@ Main  MPEG-2 4:2:0
level 4:2:0).  DVB-ASI Input /Output
The encoder section has one analogue video input, two
analogue audio input and one ASI interface that allows a  NTSC/PAL compliant input
direct connection to more DVB-T Transmitters. The  MPEG-1 LAYER 1/2 audio
encoding
decoder section has one analogue video output, two  SDI digital video interface
analogue audio output and one digital input on ASI  AES-EBU digital audio
interface (Asynchronous serial interface).
With the EK-CDC/2T version board it is possible to  Analogue Audio
manage every teletext signal present inside of the video Input/Output
 Multiplexer embedded

The same input and output interfaces can be used with
digital signals, SDI for the video signal and AES-EBU  SI table management
for audio signals. The main feature of this board is the  LCN function
standard availability of a multiplexer that allows to carry  Teletex for CVBS input

EK-CDC/2T boards inside the same Mainframe.
